Upgraded the Offender Based Tracking System to a SAS database and programs with online inquiry, saving so much time and resources that it valued more than my 1st year salary with them. Prior to that, I worked for Salt River Project in Phoenix, AZ & wrote SAS programs for flood management & water conservation, & taught SAS to end users as part of the Information Center. Non-SAS general professional experience:  As contractor, wrote a machine language routine for finding the median, as opposed to the average, of a group of statistical data received from hospitals all over the state of FL. This was done for the Hospital Cost Containment Board of the state of FL. Ad hoc reporting, desktop, was inherent in the system, modeled after what I had learned from SAS. Even though I had to do it without SAS, I was able to accomplish the impossible only because I had learned so much from SAS. Work History       5/1997 to 6/2007 Manager Manager of a mobile home park, with my husband, as a management team.       5/1992 to 5/1997 Manager Manager of a mobile home park, with my husband, as a management team. Supreme Court, Florida       9/1989 to 10/1992 Supervisor Programmer Analyst, then Project Manager, then Supervisor of Programming. Changed the entire software environment in that court to relational database with SAS as the primary language. DBase was the secondary and CDs had just been marketed. El Paso Gas       9/1988 to 8/1989 Contract Programmer Prescribed format for structured COBOL programming, in it for the money only. Salt River Project, AZ       6/1975 to 7/1987 Sr. Project Consultant Programmer, then Sr. Programmer, then Sr. Project Consultant. Taught classes in desktop computing, SAS included. Major contribution to flood control for dams that were designed for conservation. Wrote the SAS routines for decision making.
